Vera Wang Bridal Fall Winter 2017

It was an honor and a pleasure to be part of an exciting new Vera Wang project in celebration of her recent Legion of Honour award in Paris.

Reflecting on her love of ballet dancing and ice-skating, Vera reminds us that the discipline and hard work it took to achieve this level of professionalism at a young age remains a core influence in her work.

Vera’s enduring love affair with Paris began while studying art history at the Sorbonne.  She continues to be inspired by the cities light, historic treasures and new vibe in culture and architecture.

Her fall/winter bridal collection is a celebration of modern beauty. The stunning, iconic wedding dresses are styled with feathers and military insignia by talented Panos Yiapanis. Hair inspiration from Josephine Bonaparte by Garren, New York. The makeup is fresh and simple. Mariacarla Boscono channels a male/female persona while walking between the Hotel Particulier d’Iena and the Napoleonic splendor of the Shangri’La.

This beautiful video by Yvan Fabing is a timely reminder of everythng we love about Paris.
